HAVE A SEAT
We are so glad you are here.
My background and experience -
Engaging in therapy can help you identify your strengths and build skills that will allow you to meet changes and challenges in life. I would be honored to support you along this journey.
I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California. Fully licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Washington, I currently work outside of my private practice as a school-based mental health support specialist. I also contract with Washington State University to teach family, parent, and youth courses designed to increase family strengths and enhance child development. My 6 years of experience in the field of mental health also includes working in hospice providing grief support services to families, running summer grief camps, and facilitating grief support groups for children, child loss, widows/widowers, and sudden, traumatic loss.
In addition to my work, I enjoy volunteering. I am a member of the Providence Hospice and Homecare Foundation Board of Snohomish County, and a Committee Member for the SnoCo Children Youth and Family Wellness Fair.

We will explore any places in your life where you may feel stuck, and work together creatively to build you new pathways to healing. My approach to individual counseling includes dreamwork and art therapy. Call today so we can individualize a plan for your journey.

Being on your child's care team can include being an advocate for them outside of the therapy office. From supporting the development or re-evaluation of a 504, IEP, BIP, or FBA, to participation in a disciplinary hearing, I can work with your school or care team to make sure your child's mental health needs are met and supported. If this is something that may benefit you, let's talk further.
Teen Group Counseling
Group counseling is an effective service that allows your teen to connect with peers in a structured, facilitated setting. With the added element of communication skill building, your teen can learn to express themselves and support others, develop and learn healthy coping skills, practice social skills, and feel connected to others.
